LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello and welcome to Ball State University, Alpha Phi – Delta Rho Chapter. We are so excited to head into 2018, and start another great year of all things Alpha Phi! I am honored to be serving as the current 2018 Chapter President. Our chapter is full of strong, diverse, and inspiring sisters, and I can not wait to take on this year with each one of them by my side. Over the course of my membership within Alpha Phi, I have learned leadership skills and gained friendships that will last a lifetime. These amazing woman have not only supported me, but also given me the strength and courage to pursue my dreams.
As a chapter, we plan on doing big things this year - and it all started in the Fall of 2017 as we welcomed our new pledge class into our chapter. They are truly an amazing group of women, and I can not wait to see what they bring to our chapter. From there, the year really picked up – we had Red Dress Gala and Move Your Phi't, both of which are our philanthropies that not only raise money but also promote on-campus awareness for Women’s heart health. We also celebrated our Founder’s day on October 10th, Big/Little reveal, and participated in multiple community service events. We also loved getting involved with other philanthropies from organizations on Ball State's campus both in and outside the Greek community. In the Spring, we held our Mr. Phi-nominal male talent show to further contribute to Women’s Heart Health, as well as, planned many sisterhood events! Every year, this chapter pushes the bounds of the year before in order to serve our community and continue to reach for the stars. As we like to say, this sisterhood is not just for four years, it is for life.
I am so proud of my sisters, and I am looking forward to see what the rest of 2018 brings! AOE
